When we refreshed the Cloudera Connect Partner Program back in November 2019, we introduced the business models for cloud reselling, new solution competencies, new sales and pre-sales resources, Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) technology certifications to support partner products, market development funds, and the revamped partner portal.
It is always our intention to keep improving our partner experience. To further amplify CDP opportunities for our partners, we are now introducing a new end-to-end sales program called Cloudera Connect Market Builders.
Each Market Builder will have the following key elements:
- Sales Enablement, including live sessions led by Cloudera Connect team, delivered globally in multiple time zones
- Sales Playbooks with elevator pitches, buyer personas, discovery questions, objection handling, and more
- Marketing-ready campaign materials including solution sheets, thought leadership articles, research reports, campaign email templates, and social posts
- Scripted presentations for partners to deliver to customers and prospects
The Market Builders reflect market opportunities that are important to our joint customers: deploying a hybrid cloud strategy, migrating to the cloud, managing their data lifecycles, outperforming shadow IT, securing the data cloud, and building AI factories.
Each Market Builder is kicked off with enablement sessions, followed by go-to-market sales tools and assets that reinforces the messages. Using these assets as a starting point, partners can create customized campaigns that address their own strengths and target markets and leverage market development funds (MDF) to extend program reach. Simply put, with the provided assets in each Market Builder, partners could more readily and easily execute local webinars, content syndication, paid digital advertising, LinkedIn advertising, or other programs.
